Rev. GOLDA MASTERS
Children's Pastor
(RET.)

Rev. Golda Masters is a graduate of SNU (Southern Nazarene University.  She graduated with
degrees in Education and History.  Her graduate work was taken at Kansas State University,
where she specialized  in Science and Reading Strategies.  In 2002, she graduated from
Nazarene Bible College with a Masters in Theology.  And on August 24, 2004,
Rev. Masters became an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene.

Prior to moving to Kansas in 1964, Rev. Masters and her son were involved in Missions for two years
with the American Indians in New Mexico.  She retired from the Kansas City, Kansas School District
in 2001, with 37 years of service;  however she is currently a substitute teacher for the  district.

She has one son, Raymond, who lives in Pasadena, California with his wife, Patricia.
Even though she has no family grandchildren, she is known as Grama Golda by many children in
the Kansas City, KS area.  She has a “heart” for children and knows that the Master has called
her to minister to them.  She resigned her Children's Pastor position at VHCN due to health
reasons but remains active in the children's department.  

She currently meets with residences of the Victory Hills High Rise each Wednesday morning
at 10:00 a.m.  She continues to serve the Lord with great energy and enthusiasm.
