Jay Weatherwax – ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Pastor Jay and his wife, Sarah, arrived at Victory
Hills in February of 2006. Jay is a graduate of
Nazarene Bible College, an ordained elder in the
Church of the Nazarene, and spent 10 years active
duty in the U.S. Navy.
Jay and Sarah moved to Kansas City in 2004 for
Jay to attend Nazarene Theological Seminary from
Southern Maryland, where Jay served as an
associate pastor to youth and their families. It is
their prayerful plan for Jay to return to the Navy as
a Chaplain.
Jay and Sarah both love life—enjoying friends,
family, reading, watching movies, good food,
camping, and sharing the love of Christ with
others. Pastor Jay’s main responsibilities at Victory
Hills are outreach to our community and prayer.
