No matter what your interest, Victory Hills has ministries designed for all ages to be involved.

Worship Ministry

At Victory Hills Church of the Nazarene we believe worship is one of, if not THE, most important thing we do as Christians. We make it a central part of our services here and strive to make it a part of how we live our everyday lives. We have several ways to get involved in the worship ministry. Our Praise Team helps lead worship in all services; if you play an instrument and have a heart for using your talents for worship, we’d love to have you join us! Our Sound and Media team is also vital in making our worship services happen. There is always room for a few more volunteers to help in that area!

If you have questions or are interested in getting involved, call us or email Pastor Stuart at OR

Children's Ministry

VHCN believes the lives of children are impacted most effectively by a holistic approach that impacts the lives of children mentally, physically, spiritually and socially.

Mentally through education to children’s minds.

Physically through compassion to have children’s basic needs met.

Spiritually through evangelism to reach children for Christ.

Socially through discipleship to strengthen children’s faith.

This holistic approach is biblical and is modeled in the life of Jesus. Luke 2:52 reveals how Jesus’ life was shaped in a holistic fashion. Jesus grew in wisdom (mentally) and stature (physically), and in favor with God (spiritually) and men (socially).

Youth Ministry

Our Youth gather regularly on Sunday Mornings at 9:30 am for discipleship, 10:30 am participate in Sunday Morning Worship, Sunday night at 5:30 pm for House Church, and Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm for youth group.  They help serve dinner at the Kansas City Rescue Mission on the 4th Tuesday of every month, and have various fun activities each month.  See the calendar or the VHCN Newsletter for updated information!

Caring for Kids

We are partnered with Lindbergh Elementary through Caring for Kids.  We offer mentoring for children in need, lunch buddies, and support for the staff and teachers.  We long to see the manifest presence of Jesus change the atmosphere in KCK and believe that God is beginning with the partnerships of the schools! If you would like to get involved, see Pastor DeAnn Turley or email at

Care Portal

Care Portal is a network of churches in the Kansas City area that are linked together to be the hands and feet of Jesus for the community.  We seek to meet the needs as we are made aware for families that have been touched by the child welfare system.  As we are able we work together to provide for various needs as we receive requests from the Care Portal Network through the Global Orphan Project.

Sunday School Ministries

Every Sunday beginning at 9:30 we offer a variety of Sunday School classes from pre-school on up through adulthood.

**If you are interested in partnering with any of these ministries you can contact the church office and they will direct you to the correct person!
