| Youth Ministry |
Nazarene Youth International (NYI) at Victory Hills Church of the Nazarene is a group of young men and women that exists for the sole purpose of giving glory to God. A big part of the NYI is the youth group, which is made up of teens ages 13-18. Our youth group seeks to give glory to God through four primary avenues: Community Worship - this is our first value because we believe that joining the teens in worship is the most important thing that we do. In one way or another, worship has become a part of every aspect of the youth ministry at Victory Hills and we are continually seeking to inspire the teens to adopt a lifestyle of worship. Service - pouring out of our worship is our involvement in the community. We take seriously Christ’s words in Matt. 25:34-40 in which He instructs us to care for others. By becoming Christ’s hands and feet through His grace, we may worship Him in action and not simply in word. Fellowship - God has brought us individuals together to become His family. As the Family of God we are continually seeking to love one another more through fellowship and community-building events. Discipleship - we seek to lead our teens in the faith so that they may grow in God’s grace and develop into fruitful, Christ-like disciples. Our youth group meets every Wednesday at 7:00 pm. Our teen house church meets on Sunday nights. Also, the teen Sunday School class meets every Sunday Morning at 9:30 am. All are welcome! |
